iris-GmbH infrared & intelligent sensors Sensors is a company engaged in and focused on the development and manufacture of infrared detection systems and products for automatic people counting. We develop, fabricate and supply optoelectronic sensors for integration into a variety of systems.
Our main product is the “Infrared Motion Analyzer (IRMA)” Automatic Passenger Counting (APC) system. IRMA has been designed for use in public transit systems and is currently being utilized by a large number of transit agencies throughout the world.
Specific areas of expertise and know-how of iris-GmbH include the fields of infrared sensors (FIR), near infrared sensors (NIR) and signal processing.
Beginning with its formation in 1991 iris-GmbH has continuously improved its technological capabilities. Research projects are dedicated to ongoing advancement of sensor technologies, signal processing and communications. To facilitate this, iris-GmbH has been maintaining stable relationships to a number of domestic and foreign research partners.
