IRMA in Abu Dhabi
The Abu Dhabi transportation company Department of Transport (DOT) has decided in favour of the counting system IRMA. The integration of IRMA 3 D into their vehicles is under way: 105 busses of manufacturer EvoBus already count by IRMA counting system.

IRMA 3D – excellent detection at increased altitude range
At this year´s beginning iris-GmbH presented the DIST 4.08 as current revision of the line of 3D sensors. What is most particular about this sensor is the fact that it counts at an altitude even as high as 3,50 m, thus making it perfectly suitable for its use in buildings. – An innovation achieved by having added a second choice of height to the selection of the sensor´s configurations.

Iris GmbH decided to participate in the activities of proMANO e.V. based in Berlin-Adlershof for the purpose of concentrating the expertise of a bundle of companies which are active in microsystems technology forming the base of the high quality of its passenger counting sensors, iris GmbH decided to participate in the activities of proMANO e.V. based in Berlin-Adlershof.
New Sales Associate in France
Since October of last year there has been a new sales associate on board at iris GmbH, Emmanuel Domanski, who after a brief orientation period is now working independently from France.

Warsaw expands its vehicle fleet with IRMA
In the Polish capital the public transport company, "MZA", has ordered 75 vehicles from the bus manufacturer Solaris, equipped with IRMA ADVANCED.
Innovative Technology for Counting Passengers - IRMA at InnoTrans 2008 in Berlin

IRMA is counting in the Middle East
Since mid-year, iris GmbH and its Israeli Partner ISR have been equipping 500 vehicles from Israel's Egged bus company with IRMA basic.

Geneva is counting on IRMA!
Until November 2007 IRMA will be installed in 392 vehicles of TPG (Transports Public Genevois) of Geneva. IRMA will be counting the number of passengers entering and exiting through a total of 1700 vehicle doors transmitting passenger counts to the ineo SAEIV system.
iris with first time presence at the InnoTrans tradeshow
iris-GmbH will have a stall at this year’s InnoTrans, an international traffic engineering tradeshow in Berlin (Hall 2.1, Stall 106). The InnoTrans, which takes place every two years, will be open from 19 to 22 September 2006 on the Berlin exhibition grounds.
Iris celebrates its 15th anniversary
There are plenty of reasons for celebration at iris-GmbH: Exactly 15 years ago, in September 1991, the company started out as a small high-tech startup. Today iris is among the leading suppliers of passenger counting systems, whose products are used in numerous cities around the world. Staff has increased threefold when compared to the number of people employed in the first year in business.
New iris corporate design
On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, iris-GmbH presents its new corporate design. The re-launch of the German iris web site will be the initial step. English and Spanish versions will follow this year. Presentations at this year's InnoTrans already featured the new design and new print materials are currently being produced.
