This marked Iris GmbH's first showing as an exhibitor at Transports Publics, staged in Paris from 10 - 12 June 2008. The Iris stand enjoyed a large number of visitors and saw avid interest in IRMA automatic passenger counting systems—visitors were particularly enthusiastic about the IRMA 3D passenger sensor, as the measuring principle behind capturing a 3D structure of passengers using an IR laser is not only unique but also offers clear advantages, in that it is resistant to environmental disturbances and thus guarantees the highest precision even under the most challenging operating conditions. Superior quality and reliability are the key qualifications for using automatic passenger counting systems—what's more, the counting systems have to be easily integrated into a wide variety of vehicle designs and existing telematic infrastructure, such as SAEIV (système d’aide à l’exploitation et à l’information des voyageurs).

Following this successful debut in the French market, we hope for excellent cooperation with customers and partners in France.
