Iris celebrates its 15th anniversary
There are plenty of reasons for celebration at iris-GmbH: Exactly 15 years ago, in September 1991, the company started out as a small high-tech startup. Today iris is among the leading suppliers of passenger counting systems, whose products are used in numerous cities around the world. Staff has increased threefold when compared to the number of people employed in the first year in business.

“We can look in pride on what we have achieved during the past 15 years", says Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Thun, General Manager of iris-GmbH. “We shall continue to place great emphasis on customer service and advanced technologies. To be able to do so, iris is very active in research and development. Current research projects focus on further advances in infrared sensor technologies and signal processing.”
