The iris GmbH offers an identical replacement device within 10 days upon receipt of or notification about the defective unit. Optionally, your order can be sent in advance so we can organize the dispatch of the replacement device in good time to minimize your downtime.
Optionally, your own device can be sent for repair. An average time of four (4) weeks upon receipt of your order and your device is required for such a repair. Specific order is required for such repair.
We will charge flat rates for the exchange or repair of a defective device outside the warranty period. For further details please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please refer to the order letter for the warranty granted for the replacements or repaired devices.
Please note that, for handling of your order (even for advance delivery of a replacement device), a RMA number from our company is required. Without this number we cannot process your request. The RMA number will be sent to you electronically as a PDF document upon request at email@example.com (or FAX +49 30 58 58 14 – 999). Please print out this document and attach it together with the delivery note on the package.
If no technical defect is detected on a device returned during the warranty period, we will invoice a flat fee of 65 € per device for the check. We will establish a repair report upon request at a flat rate of 65 €.
If the defective device turns out to be a total loss and cannot be repaired (e.g., due to water damage), our service department will contact you to agree upon the further way of action.
