A Berliner in France
In 2011, SIBRA chose to equip all its new buses with the latest sensor generation, named IRMA MATRIX. The sensor allows state-of-the-art-functions, such as measuring the vehicle occupancy along the lines as well as the passenger traffic at each stop. The onboard APC solution is directly connected to the existing INEO AVL, allowing easy analysis and data transfer to the back end.
The daily operation over many lines is optimized with new schedules and new bus types since September 1st, 2012. In the last quarter of 2012 Annecy will officially be the first public transport authority in France operating hybrid buses in the city daily. The revolutionary IRMA MATRIX will be part of it.
